[ARCHIVED] Mail-in Concealed Weapons Permits now available.

For permits expiring during the Judicial Emergency Order (February 15, 2020 to August 12, 2020) we will be eligible for renewal.

Permits expiring after August 12, 2020, are subject to the Rule of renewing 90 days before & 30 days after expiration date, and can be mailed in also.

Go to Effinghamcounty.org and click on Probate Court, and the Firearms tab.

Fill out all forms, and mail with copy of Driver’s License (with current physical Effingham address), Gun Permit, and payment of $36 (check or money order only) to Effingham County Probate Court, 700 N Pine St, Suite 146, Springfield, GA 31329. Any incomplete non eligible renewals will be returned back to applicant. All applications will be processed weekly with turnaround of 2 weeks with new permit mailed back to applicant..
