The Board of Assessors would like to let everyone know our current plans for Covid-19. Our office will remain open, but we are going to be closed to the public starting March the 17th. The public will be able to fill out Applications here at the historic courthouse and drop them in our drop boxes outside our doors. You can also mail in applications. Applications can be emailed to  taxassessor@effinghamcounty.org. We can also be reached by phone at 912-754-2125. Our hours of operation will be 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday.
