To all Effingham County Employees,

We hope everyone’s family stayed safe during the storm and all of your homes weathered it well.  Our Emergency Management Agency and all of our partner organizations have done a great job and all roads are cleared.  EMA went back to normal operations yesterday evening at 6pm and Georgia Power has been working diligently to restore power county wide.  All county buildings in Springfield have power and we are planning on opening all government offices starting tomorrow morning Wednesday, September 13th, 2017 at 8:30 AM.   We are aware that schools have closed and understand that some of you may have circumstances preventing your return so please notify your supervisor as soon as possible if this is the case.
