Effingham County Fire / Rescue is seeking men and women interested in volunteering to serve their communities. Positions are available for both emergency response and non-emergency support. Effingham County Fire / Rescue bases the selection of volunteers on the current needs of the department. Emphasis is generally placed on geographic location as volunteers typically respond from home or workplace in their private vehicles. Safe driving records are required of all applicants.
Volunteer Firefighters are the backbone of Effingham County Fire / Rescue services and, by serving, you can make a real difference in your community.
