Information Technology is located on the second floor in the Effingham County Administrative Complex on N. Laurel Street.

From Highway 21 North: Turn right onto Laurel Street. The Administrative Complex is approximately 1.75 miles away on the right, in downtown Springfield.

From Highway 21 South: Turn left onto Highway 119 and then left onto Laurel Street. The Administrative Complex is on the right.

What We Do
The Effingham County Information Technology Department is an internal support office responsible for the planning, installation, maintenance and support of information technology resources to include computer systems, network systems, radio, telephone, microwave and fiber networks.  The department supports 165 users in all departments of Effingham County to include law enforcement, emergency management, accounting, Tax Commissioner and the courts.
