The following offices will now be opened from 7:30am to 6:00pm on Monday thru Thursday and will be closed on each Friday from July 12, 2010 to November 12, 2010.  The Effingham County Board of Commissioners have approved a pilot project of a four day work schedule in an effort to save on utilities and fuel expenses and provide extended hours for citizens.  Survey’s on the new work schedule are available at all County offices and online at www.effinghamcounty.org.

If you have an emergency please call 9-1-1.  Only the above offices will transition to the new work schedule.  All Courts and remaining County departments will continue to operate five days per week, from 8:30am to 5pm.
