COVID-19 Reporting Procedures
The Probation Office is closed to the public.

- There will be no “Late Night” reporting
- Probationers may call their assigned officer with any questions.
- Saturday community service has been canceled
- MRT classes have been canceled until further notice.

Make Money Orders payable to Effingham County Probation Office (ECPO). Please include the name of the person who is on probation, so the correct account gets credited. We do not accept personal checks or cash. The Effingham County Probation Office is not responsible for payments not received. You should call our office at 912-754-4155 a few days after you mailed your payment to confirm that we received it.
Our reporting hours are Monday through Friday from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. You are given a date at each appointment for the following month which prints up on your payment receipt, and you are also provided with an appointment card. The payment window closes at 4 p.m. Please note that there are no appointments between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. As always do not just show up on any given day and time and expect to be seen.

Our office is located on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse, across the street from our previous location. You may park anywhere in the designated courthouse parking lots. Please enter through the back door of the courthouse. Sign in at the window and have a seat in the designated waiting area.
